Putman Rips Richardson City for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 23rd, 2033 Piranhas catcher Andy Putman had his way with Richardson City pitching today at The Tank and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Thundercats ruined his great day by toppling the Piranhas, 10-9. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Richardson City credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Putman did today," Thundercats skipper Imran Kopitar said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Andy Putman doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Miguel Aguilar in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
