Chicago's Miura Reaps PL's Rookie Award Sunday, November 6th, 2033 Shimei Miura put together some impressive numbers for Chicago to garner enough votes for the United States Premier League Newcomer of the Year Award. The Gold Sox shortstop took the honor by hitting .290 in 108 games this season and finishing with 124 hits, 26 home runs, 79 RBIs and 59 runs scored. Leon von Stroheim of the Phoenix Hotspur finished second in voting, while Calvin Wilms of the Portland Evergreens finished third. |
