Atlanta Smoke, Gold Sox Agree to Trade Friday, August 5th, 2033 A trade between Atlanta and Chicago was made official this morning. The Smoke have sent 30-year-old RHP Brian Fixel, 30-year-old LF Valentín Guzmán and $2,800,000 in cash to the Gold Sox in exchange for 22-year-old minor league CF Tumas Wenzu and $1 in cash. Guzmán is hitting .274 this year with 15 home runs and 44 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .338, 24 walks and scored 35 times. |
