Victory Over Bowties Takes D.C. to 55-36
|
The D.C. Divided bested the Buckhead Bowties by a score of 4-1, with designated hitter Yao-pang Chiang getting the main credit. On the day, Chiang was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Divided. The Divided raised their record to 55-36.
The Divided got a big at-bat from first baseman Obidiah Lewis. For the game, Lewis was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 18th home run of the season gave D.C. a 2-0 lead.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Lewis said.
