Piranhas Lose Again, 15-6, to Thundercats
The Panama City Piranhas extended their losing streak with a loss to the Richardson City Thundercats.

Despite a great performance by Panama City first baseman Sergio Ortíz, the Richardson City Thundercats defeated the Piranhas by the score of 15-6 at The Tank. Ortíz went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Piranhas, at 32-55, have lost 17 straight games.

One of the key players for the Thundercats was designated hitter Kazuyoshi Hasegawa, who drilled a 2-run single in the top of the first inning. For the game, Hasegawa went 3 for 6 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4.

Thundercats manager Imran Kopitar wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
