Hernández Delivers Walk-Off Win for Thundercats
|
Richardson City rode a fine outing from starter Stanford McCain to victory over the D.C. Divided at The Thunder Dome. The final score was 3-2. Richardson City reliever Enrique García was credited with the win, to go to 4-2. Roberto Silva took the loss for D.C.. Richardson City is now 37-41.
Juan Jose Hernández swatted a solo home run for Richardson City in the bottom of the 11th. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 1.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hernández said.
