In a pivotal Game , the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids were hoping for a big game from starter Ricardo García. They got one.

The right-hander shut out the New Orleans Voodoo, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 6-0 victory. The Rainbow Mermaids took the 6-0 win over the New Orleans Voodoo to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
