Cranford, Wizarding Start Third League Championship Strong with Home Win
Wizarding Express center fielder Ralph Cranford was the difference-maker at Platform 9 3/4 today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Third League Championship. The Express took the 3-1 win over the Richardson City Thundercats to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Cranford had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the first for the Express. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Wizarding trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Wizarding manager David Jones. "It's usually not just one thing."
