Webster Hits 2 home runs in Aviators Win
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Kenny Webster, the Seattle Aviators defeated the Richardson City Thundercats, 5-3. Webster belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Aviators. Earning his 6th save for Seattle was Holden Rosen Grupp. Seattle is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 8th in 20 games.
Seattle needed the clutch hitting of Nuygen Vuong to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Aviators on top, 3-0. For the game, Vuong had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
Webster told a Seattle Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
