Thundercats Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
Richardson City Thundercats starter Joe Pruitt was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the D.C. Divided, 6-2. Pruitt picked up the win for Richardson City, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. The loss drops D.C. to 2-3.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when shortstop Felipe Campos, who is rated as the 39th best prospect by BNN, drew a walk. The Thundercats went on to win.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Campos said.
