Hotspur Slip Past Las Vegas, 4-3
|
Tadayoshi Watanabe helped his team muscle past the Las Vegas Flamingos, 4-3. In the game, the Phoenix first baseman was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Hotspur improved to 39-63.
Late in the game, center fielder Gabriel Pérez had a big at-bat for Phoenix. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single off Seishiro Sai. The play gave the Hotspur a 4-3 lead.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Watanabe.
