Flamingos Lose to Patriots, 6-1
|
Las Vegas had no answer for Boston Patriots hurler Natalino Golaio, who overwhelmed Flamingos hitters as the Patriots coasted to a 6-1 victory. Boston has now won 3 straight, while the Flamingos have lost 3 in a row.
Jorge Alejándrez went 2 for 5 with a double, while scoring 2 runs for Boston. The 26-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jesús Acosta. It was his 45th RBI of the season.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Golaio told a Boston Times reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
