Late Rally by Rainbow Mermaids Secures Win
The Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids got a strong performance from pitcher Ramón Molina, who stymied the Las Vegas offense en route to a 5-2 win at Atlantica. The Rainbow Mermaids bumped their record to 49-32 with this latest triumph.

The Rainbow Mermaids got a big at-bat from center fielder Ty Tomblin. For the game, Tomblin was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 23rd double of the season gave Northern Virginia a 3-2 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Molina said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
