Platform 9 3/4 was the site of a competitive game between the Kingston Township Legion and Wizarding Express.
Wizarding right-hander Damien Hayward made an effective start against the Kingston Township Legion at Platform 9 3/4, leading his team to a 3-1 win. León Vallejo was credited with the save for Wizarding, his 2nd of the season.
Wizarding shortstop Jesús Lazcano made his contribution to the Express cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the first inning. For the day, Lazcano went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"It was a good effort all around," said Lazcano.
Kingston Township has now lost 4 consecutive games.
