It was a good time at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum, where fans came to watch the Vancouver Grey Wolves and Philadelphia 1776 BC get after it.

Vancouver had no answer for Philadelphia 1776 BC hurler Ryan Bentley, who overwhelmed Grey Wolves hitters as the BC coasted to a 6-1 victory. Bentley went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 3-4.

In the bottom of the second, Jake Grant hit a 3-run home run for Philadelphia 1776. The 1st home run of the season for the Philadelphia 1776 right fielder put the BC on top, 3-0.

Bentley called the win "a collective effort."

The BC now have a record of 35-31 with the win over Vancouver.
