Les Bleus Lose, 4-3, at Cloverdale Legion Park

Kingston Township pitcher Manny Castro did his part in helping his team beat the Quebec City Les Bleus, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Kingston Township occupies 6th place in the Third League at 37-30.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when designated hitter Terrence Eler, who won the Outstanding Hitter Award in 2019, got hit by a pitch. The Legion went on to win.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Eler.
