Pandas Lose Again, 5-4, to Les Bleus
|
The Quebec City Les Bleus picked up a win at Panda Park, knocking off the Montana Pandas, 5-4. Starting pitcher Woo-suk Cho was an essential part of his team's success. Cho went the distance for Quebec City. He gave up 4 earned runs on 7 hits. Montana has now lost 9 consecutive games.
Had Jack Bonner not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Bonner hit a 2-run double. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Les Bleus.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Bonner told a Quebec City Daily reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
