Lakers Knock Off Pandas at Panda Park

The Echo Park Lakers stopped the Montana Pandas, 9-2, at Panda Park. The Lakers got a big game from Chris Harrell, who went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Lakers now own a record of 19-29.
Freddy Torres went 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Echo Park. The 27-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single off Sukejuro Yokoyama. It was his 47th hit of the season.
