Vancouver Grey Wolves starter John Dempsey was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Phoenix Hotspur, 7-3. Vancouver is now 23-20.

In the bottom of the second inning, second baseman José Jarca came through big-time for the Grey Wolves. With Vancouver leading 2-1, he belted a 2-run home run.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Jarca.
