The Hotspur had to overcome a good performance from Philadelphia 1776 pitcher Ryan Bentley to claim a 6-4 win at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum. Bentley went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Hotspur are now 22-20, while the BC fall to 21-21.
This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the 12th, Gabriel Pérez drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Hotspur took the lead, 5-4.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pérez told the Phoenix Citizen.
