The Philadelphia 1776 BC took Chicago pitcher Tony Alfonso's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Gold Sox Field. The final score had Philadelphia 1776 getting past the Gold Sox, 7-2. Alfonso went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 9. The BC have now won 4 straight.
