Victory Pushes Cattlemen Record to 10-3
|
Ft. Worth Cattlemen starter Gustavo Pérez turned in an exceptional performance against the Echo Park Lakers at The Cattle Pen, resulting in a Ft. Worth win, 4-2. The Cattlemen keep rolling, raising their record to 10-3.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the ninth inning, but Jesús Tejeda didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Echo Park trailing 4-2, Tejeda retired Bartolo Sierra to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Tejeda, with a wink.
