Dodgers Stymie New Jersey, Take 2-0 Win
|
Brooklyn Dodgers starter Barney Starr was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the New Jersey Fenix, 2-0. Brooklyn is now 40-61.
Early in the game, catcher Tony Manzanares had a run-scoring single for Brooklyn. It was his 62nd hit of the season and put the Dodgers on top, 1-0.
Manzanares told a Brooklyn News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
