Ogallala No Match for Deleón Thursday, August 19th, 2032 The Ladue Rams did little to support starter Víctor Deleón against the Ogallala Octopi, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Octopi, striking out 8 and surrendering 6 hits. The performance from Deleón allowed Ladue to escape with the 2-0 win despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said 'Víctor, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Deleón told BNN reporters following the win.
