Puente Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Sunday, August 18th, 2030 Richland's Víctor Puente accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Puente finished 4-for-5 with 6 RBI and 1 run scored and helped the Rails knock off the Northville Eclipse 14-4 at Old-Timers Park. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Puente told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Víctor Puente was hit by a pitch in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Rizaldo Manansala in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
