Carmona Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Sunday, August 5th, 2029 Brooklyn's Manuel Carmona accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Carmona finished 4-for-6 with 2 runs batted in and 1 run scored and helped the Dodgers knock off the New Amsterdam Dutchmen 4-3 at Dutch Master Park. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Carmona told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Manuel Carmona struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off J.J. Spencer in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit an RBI triple in the 13th.
