Legion Mesa Gone for Year Wednesday, August 1st, 2029 The season is finished for Marcos Mesa of the Kingston Township Legion. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Legion reliever suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Houston 1837 BBC. Team doctors said it would take at least 13 months to heal. To date this year Mesa has won 1 and lost 0 with a 1.86 ERA, no saves and 8 strikeouts in 6 relief appearances. |
