Martínez Named 3L Batter of the Month Wednesday, August 1st, 2029 Alfredo Martínez may be much younger than other hitters in the Menard's Third League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Toledo right fielder hit .320 with 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This season Martínez is swinging the bat at a .347 pace. He has hit 14 home runs and scored 59 times, while driving in 41. His on-base percentage is .421 and he has played in 69 games. |
