Álvarez Earns 3L Player of the Week Monday, July 30th, 2029 So far in his young career, Mario Álvarez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Menard's Third League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Capital District Red Knights shortstop hit at a torrid .562 clip as he collected 9 hits in 16 at-bats, no home runs, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Álvarez is hitting .284 in 2029 with 24 RBIs and 1 home run. |
