Wednesday, May 30th, 2029
After an intense confrontation, both the Stingers Dylan Carson and the Aviators José Muñóz were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Toledo-Seattle game. Both players will miss 7 games as a result of their actions.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Dylan Carson commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

Carson is hitting .319 so far this season with 14 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 29 hits including 4 home runs, 18 walks and .432 OBP.

To date this year Muñóz has won 1 and lost 1 with a 4.61 ERA, no saves and 11 strikeouts in 6 relief appearances.
