Ennis Chosen 2029 3L Outstanding Hitter Award
Tuesday, October 30th, 2029
At the age of 25, John Ennis of the Portland Evergreens could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2029 was good enough to win the first baseman the Menard's Third League Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .312 batting average this year, as well as a .473 on-base percentage. He played 108 games and racked up 124 hits, 24 doubles, 6 triples, 12 home runs, 50 RBIs and 105 runs scored.
Ruud van Ineveld of the Las Vegas Flamingos finished second in voting, while Adrián Gómez of the Portland Evergreens finished third.
