Chicago's Simpson Chosen 3L Batter of the Month Monday, October 1st, 2029 When Jeff Simpson stepped up to the plate in September, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Menard's Third League Batter of the Month award. The young Chicago left fielder posted a .423 batting average with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 19 runs. Simpson also worked pitchers for 11 walks to post a .512 on-base percentage. This year Simpson has hit at a .291 clip with 55 RBIs, 15 home runs and 64 runs scored. |
