António Padilla Out for Season Sunday, August 19th, 2029 A blow for António Padilla today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8 months with a broken kneecap. Padilla suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Detroit Renaissance are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Padilla's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Padilla is hitting .262 this year with 10 home runs and 34 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .346, 30 walks and scored 35 times. |
