Grafton Catcher Named SL's Best Rookie Tuesday, October 30th, 2029 Jorge Flores put together a sparkling rookie season to snag the United States Silver League's Newcomer of the Year Award for 2029. In 89 games, the Grafton catcher hit .338 with 113 hits, 17 home runs, 57 RBIs, 39 walks, 48 runs scored and a .406 on-base percentage. Sam Quint of the Philadelphia 1776 BC finished second in voting, while José Jarca of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished third. |
