Ramos Gets Award for Relief Work

The manager of the Philadelphia 1776 BC said he always had confidence handing the ball to Carlos Ramos out of the bullpen.

The 27-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Philadelphia 1776 and his efforts have been rewarded with the United States Silver League Reliever of the Year Award for 2029.

The bullpen ace had an impressive 2.74 ERA this season, with 22 saves in 53 relief appearances. He fanned 84 batters in 69 innings and sported a record of 5 wins and 5 losses.

Francisco Valdés of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished second in voting, while Gabriel Hidalgo of the D.C. Divided finished third.
