Grey Wolves, Pérez Blank Ft. Worth Tuesday, September 25th, 2029 Juan Pérez of the Vancouver Grey Wolves spun his magic on the Ft. Worth Cattlemen today. He blanked them 6-0 on 3 hits, registering 6 strikeouts and no walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Pérez said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Vancouver skipper David Krause said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations." "Juan pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said. So far this year Pérez has made 22 starts, tossed 143.1 innings, struck out 94 batters and walked 47.
