Fans who came to Wolf Den in Vancouver watched the Vancouver Grey Wolves and the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC fight to the finish.

Vancouver pitcher Juan Pérez did his part in helping his team beat the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Northern Lions BC, now 42-47, have lost 4 straight.

Had Michael Malloy not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Malloy hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Grey Wolves.

"I was a little disappointed," said Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
