Kaufman Now 2-1 After Subduing Gold Sox
|
The Boston Patriots picked up a win at Gold Sox Field, knocking off the Chicago Gold Sox, 5-1. Starting pitcher John Kaufman, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Boston goes to 15-4 with the win.
Kaufman, who is tied for 8th in the PL in wins with 2, pitched a complete game for Boston. Kaufman surrendered 2 hits over 9 innings and struck out 5. With the win, he moves to 2-1 on the season.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Kaufman.
