Thunder Bay rode a fine outing from starter Rafael Rodríguez to victory over the Detroit Renaissance at Detroit Field. The final score was 2-1. The Northern Lions BC raised their record to 36-38.
Carlos Rodríguez, who is tied for 7th in the SL in extra base hits with 27, helped out the Thunder Bay cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4.
