Spirited fans at Field of the Middies greeted the Grafton Middies for their clash with the D.C. Divided.

D.C. rode a good effort from starter Germán Rodríguez to beat the Grafton Middies at Field of the Middies. The final score was 10-0. Rodríguez got the win, improving to 5-6. He allowed 7 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. Rodríguez allowed no earned runs.

Wilfred McLaughlin, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in home runs with 11, helped out the D.C. cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Rodríguez.

The first-place Divided have a one-game lead in their division.
