Pivotal Game Goes to Host Hotspur, 8-0
In a pivotal Game , the Phoenix Hotspur were hoping for a big game from starter Miguel Rubia. They got one.

The right-hander shut out the Panama City Piranhas, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 8-0 victory. The Hotspur took the 8-0 win over the Panama City Piranhas to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Rubia was in the zone all game. He frustrated Panama City hitters while giving the Hotspur 8.2 innings of quality work. Rubia threw 141 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 12 punchouts.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Rubia told reporters after the game.

The next game is set to be played Tuesday, October 16th, 2029 in Panama City. Slated to start are Alejandro Guerra for the Phoenix Hotspur and John Dempsey for the the Panama City Piranhas.
