Almost There: New Amsterdam On Cusp of R2030 Triumph After 6-0 Win

Game was big. So was Walt Coffman.
The New Amsterdam starter rose to the occasion at Panda Park today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Dutchmen to a crucial 6-0 victory over the Montana Pandas. Coffman threw 8 innings of shutout ball as the Dutchmen won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 2030.
Coffman was in the zone all game. He frustrated Montana hitters while giving the Dutchmen 8.1 innings of quality work. Coffman threw 126 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
"I like our moxie," said Dutchmen manager Sal Gaudio.
