In leading Vancouver to a crucial 6-2 victory over the Grafton Middies at Wolf Den in Vancouver today, the Vancouver starter rose to the occasion, tossing 7.2 good innings and earning player of the game honors. Pérez threw 7 innings of 2-hit ball as the Grey Wolves defended their home field to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 2030.
Pérez, a native of La Vega, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Grafton hitters off-balance, while giving the Grey Wolves 7.2 quality innings. Pérez threw 103 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 5.
