|
The Boston Patriots moved to within one game of the Round 2031 today, downing the visiting D.C. Divided at Dunkin Donuts Park by a score of 10-6. Patriots first baseman Terry Armstrong was named player of the game after he was 4-5 with 3 doubles, while scoring 4 runs. The win gives the Patriots a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2030.
Tommy Jones, who won the Gold Bat in 2026, aided the Boston cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3 with a walk.
