|
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC bested the Grafton Middies, 7-3, at Field of the Middies. Xavier Pérez was named player of the game. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Thunder Bay has now won 3 straight, while the Middies have lost 3 in a row.
Pérez had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Northern Lions BC went on to win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pérez told the Thunder Bay Daily News.
