The Athletic Club KC went into extra innings against the Richardson City Thundercats but ultimately moved to within one game of the Round 2 today. The Athletic Club KC downed the Thundercats at The Thunder Dome by a score of 2-1. Athletic Club KC right-hander Juan Torres was named player of the game after a solid outing in which he threw 9 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Athletic Club KC a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.
