The Rocky Mountain starter rose to the occasion at Washington Stadium today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Nuggets to a crucial 6-2 victory over the D.C. Divided. Riley threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs as the Nuggets won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

The Nuggets picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

Riley told a Rocky Mountain News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
