CF Jones, Thundercats Destroy Aviators 11-3 to Force Game
|
Richardson City Thundercats center fielder Joey Jones was the difference-maker at The Thunder Dome today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Play-In. The Thundercats took the 11-3 win over the Seattle Aviators to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
Juan Torres had a chance to do some damage in the top of the ninth. With Seattle trailing 11-2, Seattle had the bases loaded. Torres grounded out, driving in 1 run. But it was not enough. Seattle would not finish the comeback.
