Almost There: Wizarding On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 7-1 Win
The Wizarding Express moved to within one game of the President's Shield today, downing the visiting Capital District Red Knights at Platform 9 3/4 by a score of 7-1. Express left-hander Charles Dobson was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 9 innings of 6-hit ball. The win gives the Express a - advantage in the best-of- Play-In.

Dobson was in the zone all game. He frustrated Capital District hitters while giving the Express 9 innings of quality work. Dobson threw 98 pitches, allowing 6 hits and getting 5 punchouts.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Express manager Dan Cahill. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
