In a pivotal Game , the Boston Patriots were hoping for a big game from starter Lúcio Sánchez. They got one.

The right-hander shut out the Capital District Red Knights, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 1-0 victory. The Patriots took the 1-0 win over the Capital District Red Knights to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

The Red Knights had little chance against Sánchez, who overpowered Capital District hitters and struck out 10.

"We've got a great group of guys," Sánchez said, "and we're having fun right now."
